Ingredients

1 ripe avocado

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried dill

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 to 1/2 cup buttermilk (more or less for desired consistency)

Optional: a pinch of cayenne pepper for some heat

Instructions

Prepare the Avocado: Cut the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.

Add Creamy Base: To the blender, add the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and fresh lemon juice. This will provide the creamy base for your dressing.

Incorporate Seasonings: Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. If you like a little spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.

Blend Until Smooth: Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed to ensure everything is well incorporated.

Adjust Consistency: Slowly drizzle in the buttermilk while blending until you reach your desired dressing consistency. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

Chill: Transfer the dressing to a container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully.

Serve: Stir well before serving. Drizzle over salads, use as a dip for veggies, or enjoy with your favorite wraps!
