Ingredients

For the Apple Filling:

4 medium-sized apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and diced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Crumble Topping:

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Frozen Yogurt:

2 cups vanilla yogurt (Greek or regular)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional toppings: chopped nuts, caramel drizzle, whipped cream

Instructions

Prepare the Apple Filling:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, brown sugar, flour, and vanilla extract. Stir until the apples are well-coated. Set aside to let the mixture macerate for about 10-15 minutes.

      Make the Crumble Topping:

        - In another bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Pour in the melted butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside.

          Assemble the Base:

            - In serving cups or small jars, layer the bottom with a generous scoop of the apple filling, pressing down slightly to create an even layer.

              Add the Frozen Yogurt:

                - In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth. Spoon the yogurt mixture over the apple filling in each cup.

                  Top with Crumble:

                    - Generously sprinkle the crumble topping over the yogurt layer, ensuring that each cup is well-covered.

                      Freeze:

                        - Place the assembled cups in the freezer for about 4-6 hours, or until the yogurt is firm but not rock hard.

                          Serve:

                            - When ready to serve, remove the cups from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes to soften slightly. Optionally, drizzle with caramel sauce and top with chopped nuts and whipped cream before enjoying.
