Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 cup fresh figs, diced (if unavailable, dried figs can be used but soak them in warm water for 30 minutes)

2 tablespoons honey (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

A pinch of sea salt

Optional: crushed nuts (like walnuts or pistachios) for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Figs: If you’re using fresh figs, wash and dice them into small pieces. If using dried figs, ensure they are softened, then roughly chop them.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and the honey is fully incorporated.

Fold in the Figs: Gently fold the diced figs into the yogurt mixture, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

Prepare the Molds: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use silicone molds to pour the yogurt mixture. If desired, sprinkle crushed nuts on top for added texture and flavor.

Fill the Molds: Using a spoon, scoop the yogurt and fig mixture into the molds or make small, round discs using the lined baking sheet.

Freeze: Place the filled molds or baking sheet into the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the discs are completely solid.

Serve: Remove the frozen yogurt discs from the molds or peel them off the parchment paper. Allow them to sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes for easier handling.

Enjoy Your Treat: Serve immediately or store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer. These discs are perfect for a refreshing snack on warm days!
