Ingredients

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie works well)

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine and set aside.

Shape the Biscuit Bombs: Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly in your hand or on a clean surface.

Fill the Biscuits: Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture into the center of each flattened biscuit. Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling and pinch them together to form a sealed ball. Ensure the filling is fully enclosed.

Prepare for Baking: Place the filled biscuit bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake: Bake the biscuit bombs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed up.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil if desired, alongside extra marinara sauce for dipping.
