3 cups Rice Krispies cereal

1 cup mini marshmallows

½ cup chocolate chips (milk or dark)

½ cup graham cracker crumbs

½ cup creamy peanut butter (or chocolate-hazelnut spread)

¼ cup unsalted butter (or coconut oil)

1 tsp vanilla extract

Extra mini marshmallows and chocolate pieces for topping

A few additional crushed graham crackers for sprinkling

Prepare the pan: Line an 8x8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. Set aside.

    Melt the base: In a large saucepan over low heat, combine the unsalted butter (or coconut oil) and peanut butter (or chocolate-hazelnut spread). Stir continually until melted and smooth.

      Mix in flavorings: Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and graham cracker crumbs until fully combined. The mixture should be creamy and slightly thick.

        Add marshmallows: Fold in the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips into the warm mixture. Stir until well combined, and the marshmallows begin to soften slightly.

          Combine with cereal: Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, ensuring that all the cereal is evenly coated. Be careful not to over-mix, as you want the cereal to stay crunchy.
